Former AC Milan manager Gennaro Gattuso is attracting interest from two Serie A clubs, reports have suggested. The 41-year-old left Milan at the end of last season after failing to make the UEFA Champions League with the side.
Regardless, the likes of Fiorentina and Napoli have reportedly identified Gattuso as a suitable candidate to assume their managerial helms in the nearest future if fortunes with their present managers don’t improve.
Vincenzo Montella’s job at Fiorentina is under scrutiny as his side have slipped further down the table into 13th position after the 1 nil defeat to Lecce on Sunday.
Also, Carlo Ancelotti’s Napoli have been in poor form, amid a dressing room revolt. They suffered a shock 2:1 defeat at home to Bologna in the Serie A on Sunday.
